Frequently Asked Questions
What types of gloves do you restore?
I restore baseball and softball gloves of all kinds, bringing them back to life with quality craftsmanship. I also do special restoration on legacy gloves from the 1930s - 1960s.

I currently stock 20 colors. If I don't have your color, I can usually order it. My distributor has over 40 different color of laces.
Yes. I can do small repairs to sections like webs and fingers, or I can relace your entire glove.
Depending on your glove model and its condition will determine how long it takes. Fielder's gloves with standard webs take from a day to three days. Fielder's gloves that have Trap-Eze webs take a day or so longer. First baseman's gloves usually take 2-5 days and Catcher's gloves take from 3 -7 days.
Yes, you can customize your glove with different colors and lacing options to make it unique.
What is glove restoration?
Glove restoration services include repairing and revitalizing old baseball and softball gloves, making them look and feel like new and most importantly, extend their use. Reconditioning and relacing is the focus of my work. If you have torn or damaged leather, there are some circumstances where I can fix that, too.
How does color lacing work?
Relacing services for baseball and softball gloves, using many different colors that are available, can really make your glove really POP! Some players change lace colors to match team or school colors. Some add color of their favorite team. Some players change their lace color every year just for fun!
What about Youth gloves?
There usually isn't much to repair with t-ball gloves and gloves of that age group because the gloves aren't subject to the impact pressures of older player. But, occasionally, finger and web laces can break. Most are fixed easily. A change of lace color is a common request. Costs for such services are much less than adult-sized gloves.
What products do you use?
I use high-quality leather conditioners, cleaners and durable laces found on most glove restorers benches. All products I use are made specifically for the baseball and softball glove revitalization.
